Eco Tourism Principles The International Ecotourism Societies (TIES) defined Ecotourism in 1990 as: "Responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people."

As per above definition, the principles of Ecotourism as we understood are: About uniting community based tourism, responsible travel, and conservation in balanced ways. This means that those who implement and participate in ecotourism activities should follow the following ecotourism principles with uniting them balanced ways caring the conditions of the ecotourism destinations:
