Village Planting and Harvesting
No experience necessary. The Nepalese people are prodigious farmers. They turn any small patch of ground into a bountiful crop. In this assignment you can choose from remote villages to rural towns that share community growing fields. You will put in long days in the field with the men and woman, working side by side and appreciating the humor and faith of these hard-working people in spite of their arcane methods. Placements are somewhat seasonal. Some areas grow year-round; others are limited by their elevation.
